I Will Ride is STeam's only transportation-focused project group! It is the Berkeley Chapter of the California High Speed Rail Authority's official ridership campaign, which is a statewide network of colleges dedicated to informing their campuses and communities about California's high-speed rail project. This project will save 2.0 to 3.2 million barrels of oil annually starting in 2030! The rail will connect San Francisco to Los Angeles in under three hours and is already under construction in the Central Valley. The project group will host and attend events promoting this high-speed rail project. Additionally, we will engage in all things transportation! From bicycling, accessible public transit, and more.
